NAMES IN GREEN are candidates who have said they want to be known as running to reform immigration policies and have provided survey responses backing up their claim.

ENCOURAGE CANDIDATES TO TAKE THE IMMIGRATION SURVEY. If you find a candidate page with no positions shown, email an immigration survey to that candidate and strongly encourage him/her to complete it so that voters can be properly informed. Click here for the survey.

ABI NEVER ENDORSES CANDIDATES. Our highlighting of some candidates is to help citizens know who is most likely to work for reducing overall immigration so citizens can factor that information into their voting decisions. But we realize that voters mark their ballot based on many issues and judgments about the character and leadership of a candidate. We don’t presume to suggest the best candidate for your overall needs and interests. And, Americans for Better Immigration is strictly non-partisan, with no preference for one party or another.
Click a link in boxes directly below for one of our (2) SURVEYS to send to a candidate if his/her column on RACE page is blank, or EMAIL THE SURVEY LINK to our Congressional or Governor survey directly to any candidate in the featured races below by going to his/her race's page and clicking 'Email a survey' link below each candidate's name.

When you click on a link for a race ...

You will see a grid that compares candidates' positions on various immigration issues. These positions have been ascertained by looking at actual voting records, statements in the media, and the surveys we have sent them and they have completed.

We make changes in the comparison pages as soon as new information emerges. If you see any discrepancies, have additional candidates to suggest, or if you want to make the case that we have highlighted a race that is inappropriate, please contact us.

* Presidential candidates displayed on this website have been widely speculated as running for President in 2008. Their inclusion on this website does not imply or verify that they are indeed seeking to run for President.
